RockSlide has three levels of difficulty, multiple backgrounds, multiple rock “Themes”, an Internet Highscore board, and can be run windowed or full-screen.

System Requirements:

Mac G3 800Mhz+ (G4 or later recommended) with OS 10.3 and Java 1.4.2 (included with OS 10.3)

OR

Windows 98 2nd Edition or later (Windows XP or later recommended) 1Ghz or better with Java 1.4.2 or later (a Web-based Java installer is included in the archive).

RockSlide is Shareware. You may download and play RockSlide free for 10-days, then if you enjoy the game, you may purchase a License Key from Kagi.

Object:
In RockSlide, rocks enter from the left side of the screen and push the existing rocks to the right. You remove rocks by clicking on similar colored groups. Once those rock disappear, the rocks above fall down and, if there are any gaps, rocks may slide left. After certain amount of rocks are removed you will advance a level and the game will get a little harder. The game ends when the rocks reach the right side of the screen.

Scoring:
Removing a group of 2 rocks gets you 2 points. Each additional rock double to points for that group. So 3 rocks are 4 points, 4 rocks are 8 points, etc. Bonuses also affect scoring.

Bonuses:
From time to time, bonuses may appear. The bonuses include…
x2 - Double points
x3 - Triple points
Dynamite - Explode all the rocks of this type. 500 points.
Arrow Dynamite - Explode 3 columns of rocks. 500 points.

Bonuses can also be chained together. For example, a Dynamite might also explode an Arrow Dynamite and a Triple bonus, almost clearing the field and scoring 1,500 points.
