Walker Games is a small shareware company that believes games should be enjoyable first and foremost. Our games may be considered “simple” or “retro” by some, but we hold playability in higher esteem than technical bells and whistles. We believe games should be affordable and we release our products as shareware to cut out fat in the price tag. We also believe you should not have to buy a game only to find it doesn’t perform well on your machine. We encourage people to download and use our trial versions. We also understand sometimes you forget to try the game, and so our games will still work for a short time after the trial period expires.

We write games on the Apple Macintosh but we write in Java so even people stuck using Windows can still have some fun.

At the time of writing, we have sold copies of our first game “Rock Garden” in seven countries — US, Canada, UK, Japan, Netherlands, France, and Brazil.
